Meghann  :D

Oh Lucie.

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:51 PM
:spit: you suck, lucie.

try and have a respectable showing in new york. :help:

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:52 PM
OMG?! What is going on with Safarova? First, a disappointing loss (not the loss, itself, but the scoreline) to Ivanovic last week and two three-set battles against lesser players this week.

Lucie's return of serve is absolutely pathetic. Please get it together before NY. :o

Congrats Meghann.

Meg :inlove:

As I said before, Meg is demostrating a great level of tennis beating great players. I know that if she plays her best tennis, she can beat Kuznetsova. Maybe in three sets but she has chances.

YAY! Nice win Megs!
One break of serve in the third set ...

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:53 PM
D'oh! I thought Lucie was going to win this for sure.

Meghann pulls of a surprise here.

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:54 PM
Lucka. :bigcry:

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:55 PM
Meghann  Keep going girl, Svetlana is nothing! :o

Lucie

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:56 PM

Lucie is so inconsistent  i hope for much better showing in NY! nice chance for Sveta to go further

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:59 PM
Lucie :o :banghead: horrible loss, i was expecting a rematch with Sveta.

Aug 15th, 2007, 06:59 PM

When I heard about her victory against Santangelo I knew that she was going to beat Lucie. Safarova isn't playing very well and Meghann is making a great tournament.

Svetlana isn't easy but Meg could beat her at Roland Garros... Go Meggy! ;)

LUCIE! :bigcry:

Congrats to Meghan, who plays toughest in North America, that's for sure. She's had good results at the Open and almost beat her 3rd round opponent earlier this year...

as opposed to Lucie, who gave Meg's third-round opponent Kuzy a straight-set spanking this year.

Being a Lucie fan is a test of logic and patience. :banghead: She seems nicer than almost anyone on tour, so I'll remain faithful. I'm not even going to talk about the Open, I'm just going to wish.

Having watched Ivanovic especially in the final last weekend, I'm no longer surprised by that scoreline. Ana is totally on fire.

Aug 15th, 2007, 07:02 PM
Oh, fuck off. :sobbing: Good first set but then not able to break. I don't know what happened with her return. I was watching pieces from Paris Indoors two days ago and she was returning quite well there. Since then it has been sloppy. Perhaps other players are starting to figure her out? Travel to Cincinnati now, Lucka, to get new confidence. ;)

She should work on returning Berdych's serve! :tape:

Return of serve is fundamentally important. There's no reason why Lucie can't develop an adequate one.

It's all she needs to at least start rising again, if not reaching the rank her fans think she deserves.

Lucie. :o

Nice win for Meghann, but wtf is going on with SHAFARZHOVA?? She's played so well at times this year.

Aug 15th, 2007, 10:54 PM
Lucie will peak at the Open. She now only cares about the Slams  while in the past she was terrible in them and played great at the smaller events.

Aug 15th, 2007, 11:11 PM
Awesome Meghann :worship:

Aug 16th, 2007, 04:37 AM

She could have been in the top 30 by now had she not started the season badly. :o
