I saw this match, so strange. I came at 6-1 4-1 or whatever, and thought it would be almost over. But then Peng/Yan, bolstered by the overwhelmingly chinese crowd who kept shouting "GO CHINA!" after every point, capitalized on some bad volleys by Kirilenko and some bad returns by Bremond to even the match up at 4-4. Maria/Bremond went up 5-4, but Peng/Yan fought back and led 6-5. In the last service game, Maria served to force a tiebreaker at 40-30 and at the deciding point, but lost it to give the Chinese pair the second set. In the third set tiebreaker, the Chinese pair went up 5-3, but Bremond/Kirilenko tied it at 5-5. Then from that point on, the Chinese pair hit some great shots, and Maria/Severine were mad about a few line calls.

Note: Peng sucked with lobs ALL match. Maria/Severine kept hitting her some and she would have to duck to let Yan take them because she was hitting them so bad! Peng hit one lob into the stands without it even touching the court!
