Bielefeld (IPA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Phonetic_Alphabet): [ˈbiːləfɛlt]) is a district-free town in the Regierungsbezirk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regierungsbezirk)Detmold (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detmold_%28region%29) in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Rhine-Westphalia), Germany (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germany). It is located at 5201′00″N, 0831′00″E (http://tools.wikimedia.de/~magnus/geo/geohack.php?params=52_01_00_N_08_31_00_E_) on both the western and eastern slopes of the Teutoburg Forest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teutoburg_Forest). With its population of 326,000, it is the biggest city of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostwestfalen-Lippe) Region. The current mayor is Eberhard David.
The name Bielefeld is derived from the old name bileveld, which means "hilly field". The city is situated below a pass (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountain_pass) separating the Northern and Southern Teutoburg Forest. The centre of Bielefeld is situated on the eastern side of the Teutoburg Forest, but the modern city incorporates boroughs on the opposite side and on the hilltops.

Il Circolo di Pesaro

Surface: Clay

http://www.guideurbino.it/public/page_img/pesaro-beach1.jpg
http://www.circolotennispesaro.it/Logo_Home.jpg

Pesaro is a town and comune (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comune) in the Italian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy) region of the Marche (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marche), capital of the Pesaro e Urbino province (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Province_of_Pesaro_e_Urbino), on the Adriatic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adriatic_Sea). According to the 2003 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003) census, its population was 91,400.
Fishery (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fishery), furniture industry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furniture) and tourism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourism) are the main points in the local economy
The city was founded as Pisaurum by the Romans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Rome) in 184 BC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/184_BC) as colony in the territory of the Piceni (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piceni), the people who lived in the Marche during the Iron Age (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Age). A settlement of the latter tribe, one of their most ancient, has been found at Novilara. The northern Piceni were invaded in the 4th century BC by the Senones (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senones) Gauls, and when the Romans reached the area the population was a mix of the two races.
Under the Roman administration Pesaro, a hub across the Via Flaminia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Via_Flaminia), became an important center of trading and craftmanship. After the fall of the Western Empire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Roman_Empire), Pesaro was occupied by the Ostrogoths, and destroyed by Vitigis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitigis) (539) in the course of the Gothic War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gothic_Wars_%286th_century%29). Hastily rebuilt five years later after the Byzantine reconquets, it formed the so-called Pentapolis, part of the Exarchate of Ravenna (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exarchate_of_Ravenna). After the Lombard and Frank conquests of that city, Pesaro became part of the Papal States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papal_States).
