Interesting, thanks. I notice a lot of players with long injury periods are higher on this list than I'd think they'd be...Hingis, Golovin, Zvonareva, Vaidisova...

Average number of matches played is 39 at the moment,
for the group. Golovin and Vaidosova are at 34. For Hingis
and Zvonareva, it's not only injuries, but also inability to win
close matches. The chart of clutch players coming.

Updateed old chart with two more added. The third
one is the ratio between two percentages, or what
players get the most of the games they win.

Thanks pedrag. FWIW my comments:

Am I right that it is this year (and not the last 12 months like the real rankings)?
.
The really important figure to me is the % of matches won. Apart from the fact that Jelena's close matches give me heart failure - at the end of the day a win is win and it doesn't really matter to me the number of games won/lost or if it's a double bagel or what except for interest.
.
It's going to be much harder keeping up a high percentage of wins the more you play. Jelena keeping up that winning nearly 80% of her matches from 78 games is pretty impressive.

Yes, it's 2007 season only.

It's going to be much harder keeping up a high percentage of wins the more you play. Jelena keeping up that winning nearly 80% of her matches from 78 games is pretty impressive.

She was over 80% up to Wimbledon and San Diego. And at the
beginning of the year her starting position wasn't that great, at
Sydney she played Hingis in the first round.

Everything is working for her from now on: easier opponents,
less tournaments, even more blowouts. I seriously think she'll
challenge (read overtake) Henin in the second half of next year.
