In Vancouver Katie was the #1 seed, loses to Esperon (22, Argentinian, ranked #299 in the world), Anne K was seeded 4th and lost to Piedade (25, Porky-cheese, ranked #367 in the world), Fitzpatrick lost to a qualifier Gaverova (18, Russian, ranked #647) and in Washington Baltacha lost to Olga Savchuk (why have I heard of her? *checks WTA site* Oh, she played Hingis at Wimbledon last year, that'll be it...), who was the #2 seed.

Oh well...

What are you talking about? Bally hasn't played her first round match yet. If you are looking at those results on ITF....they are wrong. Notice that there are no scores, which means those matches have not been played yet. Someone screwed up.

Yeah. Katie is not even scheduled to play until at least Wednesday.

Yes well itftennis has been messing up and showing phantom results before the matches have even been played!
