Belgian newspaper says she's now on spot 87. I'm very happy for Els. She had a great Wimbledon, third round and was the player who gave Serena most work.
Way to go, Els!

I feel Els needs to work on her hair and make up beforeshe can be considered a true force in tennis. She has a nice game but she could never have coped with my blistering ground strokes. I could have taken her 6-2 6-2 no problem.

Els won today against Marta Marrero 6/1 6/2 on clay!!!!!!!

Els played really really well!!!!!!!! she diserved the win!!!! She won, but not due to Marta's errors but due to Els' winners!!!!!

Els is in her second youth all of a sudden! A win in straight sets against Marrero; that's not bad. Wimbledon seems to have been a confidence boost. WAY TO GO, ELS!!!

Els is playing superb tennis at the moment. I saw her play at the B'ham dubs final and she was definitely the best player on court, also saw her at Wimbledon mixed and again she was the best one out there. I am happy for her. It's great to see the "veterans" doing well. Keep going, Els!!

its sad when some ladies reach their potentiels only when they are in advanced (tennis wise) ages.
