Starting NEXT WEEK, we will feature two events per week. These are the events that we will be playing for the rest of the season:

Tier I Ladies Kremlin Cup (Indoors)
Tier III Japan Open (Outdoors)

Tier II Porsche Tennis Grand Prix (Indoors)
Tier IV Kiwi Shanghai Open (Outdoors)

Tier I Swisscom Challenge (Indoors)
Tier IV Eurotel Slovak Indoor (Indoors)

Tier II Generali Ladies Open (Indoors)
Tier III Seat Open Luxembourg (Indoors)

Sanex Championships (Indoors)
Tier V Volvo Women's Open (Outdoors)

Because we are adding these new events, I thought that it would be best to use the NEW ranking system, which gives less weight to the Tier III and lower events.

The Tier II events will have a draw of 24 players and Tier III and lower events will have a draw of 16 players.

Hi Tennisace,

Does this mean we have to nominate which tourny we want to play out of the two on offer each week or do we just commit to all tourney's???

Thanks!

P.S. - You are doing a super job - so professional, keep it up Tennisace!

tammy really wanted to play in her home continent in a couple of tournies as she feels she owes asia a lot in return for their support so she has decided to play one asian tournmament. she wanted to play all 3 but couldn't as her best friend cris has opted to play in the higher tiers which is a true testiment to her new-found confidence!

so this is her schedule...

tier 1 kremlin cup
tier 4 shanghai open
tier 1 swisscom challenge
tier 2 generali open
sanex championships

all doubles with cris fernandez but if we don't play in the same tournament singles only please!

thanks!

Keep posting committments. Due to the influx of new players. The higher Tier events have been expanded to 28 players, with 25 direct entrants and 3 wildcards. The lower events will remain with a draw of 16.

Wildcards will go to defending champions who don't make the cut off, players from that country (for example a German event will give WCs to German players), if you have been playing particularly well, if you win a lower tier event, and sometimes to new players or "juniors."
