... playing mixed doubles all the way back in the Australian Open 1998? They lost in the 1st round, but I saw that match, brings back a lot of memories. Now they're both Wimbledon champions and world #1's. What a difference 4.5 years makes!

Looking at the Wimbledon ball photos it's a marvel how much they've changed in looks. That was when Lleyton had that horrid pony tail and Serena had the dreaded beads. I am glad they've changed their looks :)

Yes I remember them playing together. Shame more of the stars don't play Mixed Doubles. Now wouldn't it be incredible if we had some of these pairings (just an example) in the Mixed events:

WOW - the Mixed would be the top rating event!!!!

Good though, Tennis Videos!

I'd like to see more of the top stars play mixed doubles as well.

Oops! I meant "Good thought"

Yeah I'd love the stars to play mixed doubles.

Picking from Tennis Videos list, I'd go for a Sampras/Davenport V Hewitt/Clijsters Final!

Why is it that the top women play doubles but not the top men????

After a 5 set match on the court, no one wants to go out again in a couple of hours and play another 5 set mtach.;)

As if playing singles for 11 month out of the year isn't taxing their bodies enough, you want them to play mix doubles to kill themselves and end their careers by age 25? lol

Notice Kournikova plays everything because she loses first or second round in most tournaments.
