Brussels (French (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_language): Bruxelles, pronounced (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Phonetic_Alphabet) , and sometimes [bʁyksɛl] by non-Belgian speakers of French; Dutch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_language): Brussel, pronounced (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Phonetic_Alphabet) [ˈbrɵsəɫ]; German (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_language): Brüssel, pronounced (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Phonetic_Alphabet) [brʏsəl]) is the capital (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital) of Belgium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgium), of Flanders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flanders) (consisting of both the Flemish Community (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flemish_Community) and the Flemish Region (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flemish_Region)) and of the French Community of Belgium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Community_of_Belgium), and it is the headquarters of most of the European Union (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union)'s institutions. Brussels is the capital city, in the centre of Belgium, and also the largest municipality of the Brussels-Capital Region (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brussels-Capital_Region). This municipality inside Brussels is correctly named The City of Brussels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_City_of_Brussels) (French: Bruxelles-Ville or Ville de Bruxelles, Dutch: Stad Brussel), which is one of 19 municipalities (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Municipality) that make up the Brussels-Capital Region (see also: Municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Municipalities_of_the_Brussels-Capital_Region)), with a total population of 1,024,492 inhabitants (1 January (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/January_1)2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006)). The municipality has a population of about 140,000. The Metropolitan area has about 2,090,000 inhabitants. [1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brussels#_note-0)
Brussels is also the political seat of NATO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO), the Western European Union (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_European_Union) (WEU) and EUROCONTROL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EUROCONTROL), the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (see: Political centre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brussels#Political_centre), below).
The name Brussels comes from the old Dutch Bruocsella, Brucsella or Broekzele, which means "marsh (bruoc, bruc or broek) home (sella or zele)" or "home consisting of one room, in the marsh". "Broekzele" was spelt "Bruxelles" in French. In Belgian French (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_French)pronunciation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pronunciation) as well as in Dutch, the "k" eventually disappeared and "z" became "s", as reflected in the current Dutch spelling (French: /bʀy.ˈsel/; Dutch: /ˈbry.s(ɘ)l/ or /ˈbrɘ.s(ɘ)l/). The names of all other municipalities in the Brussels-Capital Region are also of Dutch origin, except for Evere (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evere), which is of Celtic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtic_languages) origin.

Did you see Nathalie Mohn ? If yes, I would like to know how she is playing, her game style please :D.

hey, i saw her first round match, she's only 15, but playing allready a good, solid game. she had lot of difficulties with her fysics in the second set, i mean, her condition was not well enough, she was leading 4-1 in the second set but lost some games because she wasn't as quick as in the first set.
about her game, she plays like a man, has the habits of a man, looks like a man... she plays single handed backhand, good forhand, lot of backhandslice, good serve...
i think with some good trainers she will be able to become a good player.

yes, every single thing of her would suspect she's a man:d the first time i saw here, i thought it was a boy from the club training with a player before her match, when i passed the court, it was a match so i staid watching with claire de gub (she didn't know here either) and the way of playing, her hair, everything is like a man, but of course, it's allready a good player and as I said, i see her becoming a good subtopper, so let's hope she'll be able to grow and improve in her game, i'm now going back to the tournament, leslie and claire are playing their 2nd round match at one o'clock and later today they have to play their doubles semi-final.

He is right, I have seen some pictures ... and Nathalie is certainly not the most feminine girl. She has her hair cut very short, a little bit longer would be better :p. But it doesn't matter, she seems to have a real potential :D.
Thanks for the report & good luck Nathalie !

i talked today to natalie mohn and took a picture of her, i'll try to put it only the next days, she's really friendly, down to earth and she's playing zwevegem too, so i'll see her saterday again. i'm not going anymore to the tournament, to morrow i'm gona stay in bed and on saterday i'm going to zwevegem.

leslie and claire lost in a very though match full of tension, claudine and emilie lost too but had to win, in the first set they came back from 2-5 to 6-5, saved lot of set points but in the tiebreak they lost with 6-8. claudine made a lot of mistakes with her forhand and really needs to improve to be able to win a few matches in zwevegem but we'll see...

brussel-zwevegem is les than 2 hours drive, and her dad is with her, so even if she makes it to the semi-finals, she can go after that match by car to zwevegem, it's 35 minutes to gent, and from gent, it's another 35 minutes to zwevegem, so it would even not take her 1,5 hours
