Do you know the reason why Marion/Meilen withdrew ?
I really hope Marion is not seriously injured. It was still a nice effort from her to play the doubles today.

that's a pity for Meilen :(

Unless it's an injury it seems very disrespectful to their opponents today. They were out very late, last match on court playing their 2nd round match because they were just finishing at 9pm and then, suddenly, they've withdrawn from the next round. Why not withdraw from today's and give their opponents from today a shot at going further.

I agree. It's not right. I think that players entering events should have to prove they're injured to be able to pull out. If you're not fit enough to play doubles, then you obviously shouldn't play singles. You should have to pull out of the entire tournament to pull out of one event.

Vaidisova probably would have withdrawn, too, though.
It's not right, really, though. I wish they had played. I feel bad for Tu, and the match was going to be sooo good.

she should have pulled out before todays match-vaida may have pulled out of the next round as well but it was a bit of a waste, unless marions trying to sabotage vaidas title chances :p

I have the premonition that Ai and Kata will win Wimbledon. They can beat Raysour, I know it!
