People, the matches are not all going to go the way they were going before the break, I'm predicting that at least two of the leaders will be upset, I'm just hoping Venus, Elena, Ana and Nicole pull through
Svetlana Kuznetsova v. Agnieszka Radwanska 6-2 *4-3
Ana Ivanovic v. Aravane Rezai 6-3 0-0*
Nicole Vaidisova v. Victoria Azarenka 6-4 *3-2
Nadia Petrova v. Virginia Ruano Pascual 6-3 3-1*
Williams Def. Morigami 6-2 7-6
Although Morigami is a great opponent, I can't see her having the balls to stay strong under the onslaught of a Williams comeback. She will manage to hold serve, but not when she has a chance to win the set, Williams drawing her into a breaker which she will win easily.
Dementieva def. Paszek 6-3 6-3
Paszek really wasen't serving well yesturday, and Dementieva just wasen't agressive enough. Only her impressive returning, solid strokes and unbreakable defense have kept her in this. She could volley once in a while. It's almost like someone has told her she has to let the ball bounce on her side of the court before every shot. If she can be more aggresive and come into the net when she has the opportunity finnishing points off sooner, then she should close this out easily. Paszek on the other hand could improve her serve, but generally the serve hasen't matered in this match so far, so I cant see why it will change.
Kuzy def. Radwanska 6-2 6-4
Haven't seen this match but I don't get all the hype around the pole, and don't see her offering any potential weapons to hurt Kuzzy in this match. In fact the only person Kuzzy has to worry about is herself, spraying balls all over the place.
Ivanovic def. Rezai 6-3 7-5
Rezai is no push over, but Ivanovic is just better. Next...
Nicole Vaidisova def. Azrenka 6-4 6-4
Nadia Petrova def. Virginia Ruano Pascual 6-3 6-1
This is Ginny...on grass! Its not going to happen really is it.
