Patty is playing as no 3 seed in Istanbul.

She won her first round match against Taipei CHAN 6-1 6-1.

She will face tomorrow against American Vania KING who upset Turkey's Ipek SENOGLU 6-3 7-5.

Julia won last week in Bad GAstein with Uhlirova.

Today they defeated Dushevina/Ivanova in a close match tiebreak!!!

Oh yes, I confused them. I'm sorry.
However, Patty is playing horribly in singles R1. She lost the first set in a TB to Rossana de los Ríos who had lost 1-6, 1-6 to Vögele last week. At least she won the 2nd set 6-2. Hopefully she can improve a lot. Should she reach the second round and play this way again, she won't have a chance against Petkovic!!!

Schnyder lost to Rosanna :help:, hope Andrea can play better against her. Normally Petkovic should win this. But it´s a terrible loss for Patty :(.

Hopefully Schnyder can win more matches in doubles with Görges.
