it was a shame in 2004 as i think she would have won no problems that year too.

Actually she had one major problem in 04 and that was her not playing. Even if she had played, she would not have beaten any of the four semi-finalists that year on grass...maybe Lindsay. But I agree about last year being her best chance.

its too early to make predictions the last person to win RG and wimbledon same year was serena.clay is taxing on the body ,but the winner of rg can be a virtual unknown who can peak at the tourney.last year nadia was the hot favourite but lost early,clay is unpredictable its difficult to predict the winner at the moment.

Serena, Justine and Jelena are the only players who have a real shot at both. Venus could easily take Wimbledon, but I don't see her winning RG this year, same goes for Maria.

Well there's only one player around who's done it, and she's a motivated as ever, so I don't see why she can't do it again this year.
