I really hope that Israel will play some of the really big Tennis' empires such as Russia or US or France, but only if it would be in Israel , and we could finally see some tennis stars in here. :) especially with the tennis tournament in Israel beeing removed. :(

If Linetskaya can get her old form back, Israel will have a strong team.

I think the possible teams Israel could play against in the play offs are:

Belgium, Spain, Japan or China

First set was very high quality tennis, and in fact I'd say Aleks outplayed Shahar, I was extremely impressed. Aleks looks like she's dropped some pounds and it showed - she was doing everything right. She got a couple of bad non-calls against her during a long game with break points at 4-4, and was frustrated and her game slipped away. Credit to Shahar for keeping her high level up for the entire match, it's easy to see why she's been flying up the ranks. Too bad Aleks lost her focus because it was shaping up to be a great match. 'Grats to Israel :)
