right now Brie is ranked 724 with 13.75 points

Hm. 700 players retiring all at the same time is a tad too unlikely though!

Brie has become a real expert in the art of gaining as many ranking points as possible while never needing to learn how to play tennis. Somehow she has managed to score direct entry into several WTA events (including a Tier I and a Tier II last year) despite her very low ranking and horrendous record.

When she retires, she should write a book for other rich girls who want to play at the life of a professional athlete for a few laughs. It would be funny if she weren't displacing other players with fewer resources who actually deserve the breaks that Brie keeps getting.

How can such an amateur retard even START OFF PLAYING in these tournaments? Did she ever even play juniors in USTA or anything?

the fact that she's ranked 700 sth is not that bad after all. There are worst girls than she is. I'm just trying to be kind :) Well, that kind of losses aover and over again would kill anyway!!!

No, it's not that bad a ranking. It's only bad when you realize that she is ranked above more than 700 other players, despite winning only ONE MATCH in the whole past year. :tape: Her ranking comes from working the system, not from winning matches at any level.

No, Brie has won ONE match in her whole CAREER. Against girl who has never played professional tennis match again :tape:

Wonder what's going on in her head. I can't imagine that it's a decent feeling to be shot off the court over and over again, getting bagelled almost every tournament and all that stuff.

Or is this (post-)modern (life-)art? Something like a Sisyphos's job?

Weird story some kind of "Eddy the Eagle" in tennis, ... her parents seem to have no kind of responsibility at all.

Yeah, I think Brie is an ok player, but nothing at the level of professional tennis. So she only got one point?

With all these bagel girls on the tour, Golden sets and matches (where the opponent wins all of the points) must happen regularly. I know that there was an American bagel girl named something like Kelly McCain who played 10ks and apparently did not win a point in one of her matches.

I hope Brie comes to 25k Toronto this year. There I can testify as to how good she plays ;)

I think Brie prefers to play quallies in WTA tourneys where she can actually get a point for losing. ;)

So who has actually seen this girl play?? just curious... Is she like an ok junior player, just not pro material or is she absolutely horrendous like a few of the other bagel girls described? The whole thought of wasting tons of money trying to do something you don't have the ability to accomplish is ridiculous to me

Don't drag Kelly McCain into this. Kelly was a Top 120 player with a halfway decent career

From the descriptions I have heard from people who have seen her play, she is actually very bad. Like, she can only get her serve or groundstrokes in 1/10 times :o

It's sad that she actually thinks that this is "living a dream" or whatever.
