The prosecutor has announced the case is closed, no charges
filed, and possibly no crime ever took place.

As he admitted, there was a rush to judgement, bravado instead of
judicial patience.

This man should be fired, removed from office, whatever.

The woman should be prosecuted for making a false claim.

These three young men have had their lives torn apart over
a fake claim.

Where do they go to get their reputation back?

I hope they sue someone or the University or the State or DA.

Where are the 'leaders'/activists who rushed to get in front of the cameras
to stand by the 'victim' early on, without any real evidence to back
up her story...and who publicly slandered these guys. Jackson?
Sharpton? NAACP? Nation of Islam? The DA? Duke President?
Women's groups? Cable tv? Tabloid tv?

The DA should have asked for patience, and led by example,
in working to get the facts in a timely manner. He didn't. He
helped flame the fire.

Rape is notoriously difficult to prove, and so many cases fail at some point in the process...I think fake claims are rare, its just that the legal system is tilted against women in rape cases.

We all have our opinions on notorious cases like these...in this case mine doesnt tally with yours.
