Shahar is "injured" but I think she will still play this match ...
expect tons of long rallies from the baseline as neither player has a huge weapon and these are probably two of the best movers on the WTA tour

Jie in 3 :worship:

I don't think that Shahar will play.
The reports in Israel claim that she have a deep cut/incision on her left hand.:awww:
I really hope she will be OK and be able to play.
Love tou Shahar:couple:

well than, if she is not 100% , I will prefer that she loses becuase being below 100% won't be enough against Yankovic.

Well, JJ, I don't know...I love them both but at this point I would favor Shahar in that matchup. Jelena seems to have lost a bit of something, though it could come roaring back at any second.
Still, 1st she has to get through Jie.

Barring a withdrawal I think Shahar will beat Jie in 2 tight sets, 6-4, 7-5.

Henin, Mauresmo, Clijsters, Dementieva, Williams, Sugiyama, Hingis.
There are plenty.

Despite the X-factor I think Shahar will win. 3 sets.

If Shahar is at least 85% ok and Jie will probably attack her backhand so shahar should win eaisily because she have great backhand shots..

Remember at the '45 Oscars, when, unlike Little Kay in Mildred Pierce, an "ill" Joan Crawford made a miraculous recovery, in time for her Oscar to be hand-delivered to her in bed?

If she plays this match -- then she's telling us she's not badly injured. If she's injured -- and KNOWS that she's injured, she should withdraw and heal for the spring red clay season in Europe.

I always crack up when Little Kay croaks in Mildred Pierce. It's a wonderful film, but the little fake cough of Kay two scenes before just can't be missed for pure entertainment value. And Mildred gets over it so fast, it's like the next scene, little Kay had never existed. :o
