Good first round, but again a very tough second round, against a high seed again.
It's about time for Misa to reach third round of any tournament, but this one will be very, very hard again.

Pff she's unlucky with the draw again. It's a good thing she decided to play Charleston, because of the many withdrawels. Too bad she has to play anyone but Vaidisova in the second round.

Misa's part of the draw is by far the hardest :o
C'mon Misa!! :D

6-4 6-0! :woohoo:
Though it was very scary at 2-3 0-40 (3 breakpoints) in the first set!

Mooie overwinning Misa!

hey yeah! I forgot that! Damn! I really hope she can win then (although we don't know it's gonna be Bammer yet - but yeah I expect it will be). ;)

:woohoo: Misa!
She needs the first set to warm up, apparently, like against Jidkova and Vaidisova.
What more is possible? Her form seems great!

Hmm nov Ivanovic or Zvonareva. Don't know who I'd prefer her to play.

Don't know either. If she really is in a good form, it should not matter. But it won't be easy either way.

Why care about her hair? She's winning more since she had it cut, so if it helps her...

DutchieGirl
Apr 13th, 2007, 02:15 PM

I understand. ;) But I care about her results way more than about her looks.

She lost to Vera 1-6 5-7 :bigcry:
Again a slow start, second set was a bit more interesting but Vera clearly was the better player (just a bit nervous as she wasted 5 match points).
Good tournament by Misa, if she keeps this up she'll get close to top 30 pretty soon.

Yes, me too - but as someone else commented on her hair, I just gave my thoughts too. :p

Pity Misa lost to Vera, but a great week from her. Hopefully she can do the same at Fed Cup. :)

She cut it in Antwerpen, so I don't think that was the problem. :p
