Nice first match :yeah:
Zheng should be a good test for her. I really hope she can find her last year form on clay and ... finally win Roland-Garros ! I loved her so much when she was the 1st Russian player :p

If Nadia wins these next 2 matches, it will be her first title defense.

Yeah, but she really didn't play well in the final. She lost her service six times

"It wasn't a really nice match for me today; I just wasn't sharp enough," said Petrova, who was trying to defend a title for the very first time. "I was just a split second late to get to the balls and didn't have my concentration. She played solid, though; she doesn't have weaknesses. It's about time she won her first title!"

Nadia has done that before. An awful performance in a big match. At least she gets some points. She has a lot coming off through Berlin, then she can move up the rankings.

If Nadia won, it would have been 3 straight green clay titles, 15 matches in a row.
