Any reason why some people are allowed to have avatars bigger than 140x140?

I'll delete this thread once someone can just explain why. LOL.

Then maybe what new-york said is true as well, the old "premium members", who paid to keep the site running, get the larger avatars as well.

Just for the bigger avatar? Being a mod is a responsible job helping out others in need on this forum (when it suits naturally). You must not take the job of our dedicated volunteers lightly. :p

Hmm, that might actually be a good assignment for prospective mods, finding out who the one in power is to apply to. Will show if you are serious. :devil:

I gave them a hard test too, but some other mod messed that up. ;)

I dont have an issue with KB size actually. It used to be at 9.8 or something :o, so there's been an improvement.

I do have a problem with not being allowed a bigger avatar despite being a v-Bookie though:ras::angel:

I you wanna use a bigger avatar you should support the idea of 20kb even more. ;)
There has been an improvement but 9.8 or 11.7 is not such a big difference. 20 on the other hand would allow us to use perfectly clean avatars without any flaws. That would be great.

The larger pixels avatars, of course are allowed a larger kb size too.

I never had any problems staying under 11.7kb with a 140x140 avatar, so :shrug:
Not that I'm opposed to the idea (it'd be nice), but I just don't think it will happen because of the strain it puts on the site.
