View Full Version : What time is it?

Okay so in the mist of all the freakin' chaos of the time issue, I have decided to make my own thread because my posts are being lost in the Time thread.

I did everything everyone suggested in that thread. And it worked. For one post. ONE. As soon as I went to test it again, it messed up again.

I have restarted my computer, logged out, logged in, messed with my settings a million times.

My timezone in my settings is correct. I have DST off. It's still not working.
The time of the most recent posts in threads does not match the "current time is" at the bottom of each page for me. Hence, when I post, my post is lost because it's going back 6 hours.

Does anyone have an idea when this is going to be fixed?

shnit.

Ok I have no idea what's going wrong :sobbing:

I also seem to recall it went wrong when I had more than one browser window on the board if that makes sense

I just think that this whole problem is more than the whole daylight's savings time happening early this year in the states.

I also am having trouble posting in quick reply, and I'm being logged out of no where. Maybe it's a virus in the board's server! Just saying...:p

LMAO. :lol: :lol::p

Time check: 5.23pm Est?

Edit:

This is getting depressing though...

PS. the DST settings are in your user cp. under edit options.

(not like it works)

i changed the dst thing to off, logged out, i eliminated all the cookies, restarted the pc, logged in and..................

edit: and it works now:scratch: in my 136527959th try:D

I did that and on my 8378357847584 754876 try it worked.....

For ONE post.

Honestly I don't think everyone's settings are messed up, I think the board has a virus or something.

It's messed up again :(

Seriously it's not the poster's setting fault in my opinion, it's the board or something. Something the Admins/Webpeoples are going to have to fix.

I set my time zone in the User CP options to be +5 from what it realy is to get currect time...

Why can't they just use the server time for posting and then show in every place the time in the server (with the server time zone) and the user local time acording to his timezone in his user CP...

Even better could be if they can change the time zone for each Forum, so tournuments Fourms (and General Messages when there is a 2 weeks major) will show the tournument local time for each post...

Was working when I went to bed again, for a minute. Now messed up again. It's 6.30am EST. Not 12.30am EST.

Just saying...
