Since she's not seeded to get there and this is one of the biggest events of the year, its hardly a shock :o, the thread should really be Peer has the hardest way to the quater finals ;)

You honestly don't expect Daniela to get there do you? :help:

Plus she must prove her self worthy of top 16 and get to the QF at the very least. Else, shall the doubting begin. (Althogh most people still think Peer reached the top 16 by chance, lol).

Good luck to her getting to the QF.

I don't see her beating Safarova or Chakvetadze.

She can defo get to the Semis

*sigh*

You know, I REALLY wanted her to avoid Safarova, she's the one girl I hoped Shahar would not get.

That girl is on fire and got an excellent game to her. Hingis is actually a decent draw, considering the alternatives - but what a way to get there! Shahar can count on no easy matches all the way to Anna.

Shahar took a set off Hingis, and gave Pova hell last year, they are a good match for her style. Anna and Safarova worry me more, and I don't think Sprem is going to be all that easy either.

Well, up until now Safarova was not a stable player. Not a consistent one. I wonder if that has changed a long with the development of her game.

Yeah , I'm thinking of that too.. It's gonna be really hard for peer

Anyway, i'm pretty curious to see her potential 3r opponent - Safarova's performance here. could be amazing

Now that side of the draw is a brute - nearly Grand Slam proportions.
I will be interested to see how Shahar goes at IW, whether she can repeat and progress the AO form.

i wouldn't worry about Sprem. There is a very small chance she will catch fire and become extremely tough, but other than that Shahar is way too consistant for her. Same with Safarova, she plays high risk and so as long as Shahar is consistant and has low UE she should make it to Chakvetadze.

I think you don't have to worry about how far she'll go after the 3rd or 4th round, because she wont be in the tournament after that. Safarova or Chakvetadze will beat her.

I don't think about the final  but that's definitely a difficult draw. If she beats Sprem (and she has to :tape:) then it would be very intersting against Safarova. Good luck Shahar!! :bounce:

Safarova has the hardest, she has RADWANSKA in the 2nd round...

3rd round against Peer i guess is 50:50, but i hope Peer current training camp will improve her odds...

BTW, Peer is the youngest seed in her half...

I'm also not sure RADWANSKA is harder than Sprem but i think she is more dangerus... (Has a win against dementiva last year, and she is only 18 and 1 day...)
