OMG you read this thread!

Normally I wouldnt because I can honestly say that I have really started to loose my interest in following doubles really only at the semifinal stage of the grandslams

The question I have for you is;

Do you actually follow doubles?

Mar 4th, 2007, 02:42 AM
Yes, as much as singles!

Sammy 4 eva!!!
Mar 4th, 2007, 03:05 AM
Yes cause of Sammy!!

Mar 4th, 2007, 03:46 AM
Hell yeah all the time!

Mar 4th, 2007, 03:48 AM
Only when my favorite players are playing, other than that, I sometimes care at slams

Mar 4th, 2007, 03:48 AM
Yes cause of Sammy!!

Mar 4th, 2007, 04:55 AM

Arantxa :hearts: titlist in Acapulco , that feels GREAT after this long slump in singles -thx to Lourdes ;)

Ashamed to say it, but no. I'll read the doubles match results in gen mess though ;)

Mar 4th, 2007, 12:33 PM
Yes, at the moment, I follow womens doubles more than womens singles. If the WTA continues messing around with it and ruining it, however, I may eventualy lose interest and just watch mens tennis (singles, cos they ruined doubles years ago!) instead.

Mar 4th, 2007, 12:44 PM
Not alot. I'm much more into singles.

The Kaz
Mar 4th, 2007, 12:48 PM

Mar 4th, 2007, 12:48 PM
37 have said yes? Sure people. ;)

Mar 4th, 2007, 12:48 PM
yes, sometimes, especially when Martina plays!!!

Mar 4th, 2007, 12:54 PM
i lost interest when Natasha Zvereva quit

Mar 4th, 2007, 01:08 PM
It's harder to follow doubles because they seldom show it on television and the media sort of ignores it. I keep an eye at the results during the slams though.

Mar 4th, 2007, 01:12 PM
yes! because of sam & lisa :worship:

Mar 4th, 2007, 02:57 PM
Yes of course. It's interesting to see different conbinations. :)

Mar 4th, 2007, 04:54 PM
Not really. Most of the doubles just stay at the back of the court now. :o

Mar 4th, 2007, 05:25 PM
I miss the Kim Clijsters & Ai Sugiyama team,, but mostly Venus & Serena playing grand slam doubles

Mar 4th, 2007, 06:05 PM
Martina plays doubles, and being a very famous and great singles champion herself makes me watch doubles! :P

Mar 4th, 2007, 06:09 PM
Yes.....Love my American ,brothers!!!#1.............................Hold all 4 slams titles............................Just love my american tennis players.

Mar 4th, 2007, 06:22 PM
I love it! Especially Cara and Liezel!:hearts:
But it's not easy to follow if you're not on the tournament! Sometimes no livescores for doubles (as in Antwerp!)

Mar 4th, 2007, 06:35 PM
Yes, I find it fascinating the way certain teams work and others just don't. I also think that Hingis is a fantastic Doubles player and her matches are always interesting, no matter who she is partnering with.
Martina/Makiri could be a great new team if they play together more often! :)
Martina/Anna :hearts:
I Used to LOVE LOVE LOVE Navratilova/Shriver!
Venus/Serena are also quite exciting when they play dubs and I think it would be fantastic for the sport if they played together again, at least in GS's.

Mar 4th, 2007, 08:23 PM
Yes, especially when my faves are playing. Thx to Yan/Zheng :yeah: :worship:

I love it :bounce:

so few attacking players now

don't see the point in defensive backcourt doubles, in terms of entertainment anyway

Mar 7th, 2007, 08:49 PM
I follow singles more :)
