DAMN IT Paola is not in Fed Cup team to face Hungary next week.
In the announcements the argentinean team is Clarisa Fernandez, Mariana Diaz Oliva, Maria Emilia Salerni y Laura Montalvo.
Paola in Mariana's place would be much better:sad:
I heard Paola had some disagreement with the AAT (Argentinean Tennis Asociation) about money. So, we know now they didn't solve that difference.
Good Luck girls:wavey:
Jul 11th, 2002, 10:13 PM
Paola is in Palermo QF after beating Ondrovskaya 6-2 4-6 6-2:)
Fed Cup hot news:
Ricardo Rivera the Argentinean Team coach said he was surprised that Paola Suarez was not playing Fed Cup against Hungary next week. Paola confirmed she was playing after the Wimbledon doubles finals, but she faxed the asociation yesterday to cancel her participation.
The vice president of the asociaton was also angry but not surprised, he said this is the 6th time Paola is not playing for Argentina.
I don't know what was the real problem here, neither the coach or the vice president knows the reason, I'd like to know what Paola has to say about it.
See ya all:wavey:

Yes, SHe is over Daniilidou and ASV because they lost in 1st round and last year they reached the 3rd. ALso over Stevenson cos she lost in 1st round like last year, but Paola already reached the 2nd. Shaughnessy reached the 3rd last year, and this year she is in 2nd, so it is up to her.
I hope Paola reaches the 3rd round:angel:
