Hero was the best...very Classic Mariah...then second would be Vision of love..thats the song that put her on the map.

I would go for Anytime You Need A friend; Butterfly and So Lonely just to name a few of my all time favorite. But there are so many other songs that are amazing like Looking In. Mariah and her songs have a special place in my heart. And if you want to know why the above mentioned songs are so special to me ask (private message). I'ts too personal to just write it here on this forum.

My favourite Mariah song would have to be...:scratch:...the Bad Boy remix of Fantasy feat. Ol' Dirty Bastard (keepin' it real, son :cool: ).

It gave Mariah the chance to move away from pop/ballads and do what she wanted to do. It is, IMO, the most important pop/hip hop collaboration ever.

People may diss Diddy's rapping skills :o, but he is :bowdown: as a producer.

Her background singers were amazing.
The variety vocally was amazing.
It just made the lyrics so believeable.
I really felt like she lost someone she loved dearly by the way she was singing.

I also think Butterfly is an amazing song from Mariah as well.

although her voice has deteriorated a bit(i think) and she does not sing live as often as she was,she does sing quite well like she used to be,but maybe by remaking her songs a bit so she is able to sing it.she's just the one of the best singers in the world right now.

the best song from Mariah is def All I Want For Christmas Is You because this holiday classic has managed to withstand the test of time and almost every year its #1 on Billboard recurrent singles chart... and as much as i know this is the only song even Mariah haters like :lol: this also happen to be Mariah's best selling single worldwide..

I tend to agree with this.
Really, I think Butterfly is her best album from start to finish.

I do think her CD's since have all been good (even Glitter has some good songs on ... Reflections, Last Night a DJ Saved My Life); but Butterfly is her best work (close second is Mimi)
