Maxewell's Silver Hammer was obviously in action when the draw was made in both singles and doubles :help: - nevertheless she should be able to beat Loit due to her stronger ground strokes.

All the best Eleni :lick:

It was a close match but Loit won 7-6(7),6-7(1),6-4. Eleni saved 4 or 5 match points when Loit was serving for the match at *5-4. At least she fought, just too bad she didn't win :-(

Your compatriot and her partner were the lucky ones in this match...

Maybe the last days have weakened the physis of Leni (two threesetters with round about five hours of play) too much ...

Guess, Jaz is now in the Top 50 in doubles regarding the points of Paris.

Never mind - we all know that the big coup is going to happen one day. ;)

Did you guys watch the link provided by Veronika  ? Eleni had some bandage around her right leg if I remember well. Hope it's just some minor thing.

As for the doubles, I'm really suprised they lost. Jans is not a bad doubles player (used to play with other young Polish player Rosolska) but I expected more of Eleni and Jaz. Being Eleni's double partner is doing well for Jaz' ranking...
