Well at the beginning of 2006 Martina came-back to pro-tennis. Davenport was still at Top I think, but was heavily pressed by No.1 wannabe's. And then appears Martina and kinda enters the big picture.

i LOVE the mary pierce faded figure in the back.
it's actually quite a smart sketch.

There was that story about players "keeping" expensive (24 pounds each) Wimbledon trademark towels they were given before the match instead of giving them back to the ball-boys after the match was over. This way A.E.L.T.C. aka Wimbledon is loosing around 2500 towels a year. A lot of players usually collected more than 2 towels and even The Great Roger wasn't exception, who honestly admited that Wimbledon towel is simply the best souvenier of the tournament. I don't really care how much truth is in it, because all that matters is that it inspired the artist to draw this piece of artwork :)
