So wierd.

Oops, Sharapova finally held.
I just thought it was one of the wierdest things I've seen in a match in a while, especially with a serve like Sharapova's!

It's an all Russian match - I knew it was gonna be messy.

That tiebreak screamed for Chakvetadze to take. But, again, Sharapova pulls out in a pressure situation.

Anna should have won the set serving at 5-3

Sharapova can attack her serve. That was the deciding factor that set

Anna looks out of it. She has really negative body language.

I cant see a third set, but I'm not putting it past her.

Maria's turning the screw ....

Maybe you should start a thread about how you see it happening ;)

I must confess that I jinxed Chak.

The last time I saw her on tele, she was playing Hingis in Montreal (?) and she had this same injury, no kidding, and had to retire. Now the 2nd time I see her and the same thing happens? IS she gonna retire?

BTW, Chak gets too down on herself when she's injured; like a baby.

Anna won't win by breaking Sharapova 10 times. She has to hold, and she's been broken 3 of her last 4 service games

Not only in the tiebreak, Anna served bad when she was up 4-2 and then when she served for the set at 5-3.

BTW, this is a bad match. Maria is lucky right now.lol because she was so gonna lose that first set and now Chak is clearly hampered by her injury, and Maria isn't running with it.

Anna is very good at breaking serve. If she can improve her serve, she'll be super

Well she has to forget about her teres injury and play. She seems so easily affected by this. If she's gonna play, then try a little harder, and stop giving points away.
