On the men's side, Tipsarevic retired with heat exhaustion against David Nalbandian.

Don't know if anyone else has.

Seriously, Did MAria use suncreen?. That outfit wasn't the best idea for a sunny day.

BTW, i miss Amy Frazier. She would give this youngsters a lesson or two about the sun :p

I don't think the heat resistance would have something to do with fitness, unless you're a complete obese. Maria is well fit and she lives and trains in the sunny Flwda.:cool:

Withstanding the heat means do as little effort as possible and drink the liquids.
The ball bashers have to start using their brains more and body less.
