I thought she make it to the MD too!!
But at least she is through to the second round in doubles. They will have a tough challenge against Black/Huber, hopefully they can pull off an upset. I think they are capable of beating them in 3s.

I'm so glad Jelena Janković and Beth will play more this year... They are great togheter... Screw results, but they are funniest doubles ever :lol: :yeah:

I watched B's first and second round qualy matches at AO, and she played some great tennis. Served and volleyed, hit great angles, and was a class above her opponents.

I missed her final match, and was gutted when I found out the result :sad:

I'm sure she'll take some positives out of the experience. She is clearly better than her ranking of 125 suggests. She will be playing main draws on her own merit if she stays healthy, and keeps improving her fitness.
