Weather forecast for melbourne:

Tuesday- 39°C Possible Thunderstorm!
Wednesday- 35°C Showers, possible storm
Thursday- 31°C Few showers, with a chance of a storm
Friday- 34°C few showers and chance of storm
Saturday- 32°C Few Showers
Sunday- 22°C Becoming fine
Monday- 23°C Fine
Good to see it will cool down later in the week

How do you think it will effect the players, especially players coming from the winter of Europe.

Hopefully it will help the Aussies!!

hope that forecast for tuesday changes, i remember how how it was last year and it was 35, 39 would be even worse. Plus, there would be heat delays as well.

yeah, not surprised that monday & tuesday are gonna be at a high temperature with clear conditions. even if they have the heat delay, it will only be on the outside courts & luckily i've got RLA tickets for the 1st 4 days.

Monday Fine. Min 16 Max 31
Tuesday Fine. Min 17 Max 39
Wednesday Fine. Min 23 Max 39

Now even Monday is in the 30's.

I am alittle worried about Marina (no SeanyQ dont give me another bad rep just coz I said her name)
Marinas been training in europe over December and when she was here in New Zealand it was more often than not more wintery conditions - I hope that she has a quick match

No wind outside at the moment!

I flew in from perth early this morning at like 4am it was 28 degrees still!!!!

Can tell it's gonna be a warm one today hope it helps the aussie girls!

Just had a look at the new forecast, and it hasn't changed for the first 3 days but 4th day sounds better: Few showers and only 25 degrees.

I saw that too (I guess the Sky News Australia we get here is the same as you have too) - did you catch what temperature it was there today, I cant remember

i actually got it off a website so i don't know about the Sky News thing.

It was about 34 here today but that was before the change came today which was soemtime during the morning.

The forecast for tomorrow is 30 degrees and sunny, the problem is there will be some smoke haze. So it will be tough out there tomorrow.

no, smoke that has come down from the bushfires in the east, will be around a bit tomorrow

won't be that bad, 37C and 35C supposedly on those days. Still going to be annoyingly hot though.
