man i knew she was trying to go to a less powerful, thinner frame but that thing looks a stiff very thin control racquet...kinda like what federer uses. That is even thinner than the one she used during her prime. I just hope that she doesnt lose that much power by using this racquet. ANyways Good Luck Serena!:) :bounce:

Awesome racquet. It looks like it has more control and less power, which is ideal for her. :worship:

Wilson has a new series coming out (i forget the name) it looks like it could be one of those but without the paint, maybe since they haven't officially been released?

in any case Serena has needed a control racquet or midrange racquet for a LONG time, playing with granny sticks was just ridiculous so I think we're all happy she switched.

Ok, I was wrong. Serena is using that racket she was using in Africa :p

cool! I think it's an experimental racquet. No name for it yet; their just testing it out. maybe it'll come out in the next line of racquets.

Judging from the top of the racquet (pic #2), it seems like she is using a new nCode racquet. This is because the little white part on top of her new racquet has a feature common amongst many new nCode racquet, you can look at the new nPro Open, nTour Two and nSix-Two for examples. But until then, we can only speculate, and I think it will be totally different from what we have seen before. With regards to the k-factor, I think there is this possibility, but the thing is right now Wilson seems to be only keeping the k-racquets only to the very top of the line racquet (eg. n61 tour, n61 team, etc). So it will be interesting to see what Wilson come up with.

I hope it's a K-Factor, those are more PLAYERS racquets! She needs something that makes her work. Although the frame on this one looks bigger  I don't care as long as she got rid of that shoe shoe :yeah:

Well just because right now the k-factors are players racquets only doesn't mean nCode doesn't/couldn't have a players/tweener racquet.

What a hell is this??? This racquet must be made just for SW

She needs to change too. They were the wrong choice of rackets for both.

So was her last one. What's so strange about that anyway?

yep! the oversized head gives them more power which they dont need, with this thinner frame and smaller head serena will have more control which will help her to commit less unforced errors, its not the best looking but it dont bother me

:yippee: It's about time Serena woke up and changed racquets!!! Hopefully this will reflect her in her play; less errors and better precision and control on her shots.

Definatley, i dont get why any pro uses an oversize head, overall there are more cons than pro's from tour players than a club player who uses them. Other than Vee and Serena, Golovin, Fedak and Vika Kutuzova are the others i know who play with an oversized head, Vika being the only one not with Wilson and probably has the biggest of all and it hasn't been helping her game at all

Yeah, she doesn't need that much power from the racquet. She needs control and I think this new racquet will be ideal for her.

It's prolly for her good, but hey ho, the big rackets of Serena's had sth special, sth really cool. Oh well, I'll get used to it :p
