Is Julia V. the one who went to the Christian sports camp?

yes, she is very religious and it helped her get over a huge depression she faced several years ago.

It seemed creepy/cultish but I cannot remember the details. Apparently she was having serious problems (suicide I think) and this camp helped her.

Oh Tiantian thought you would win after Vakulenko took out King!

Never mind, get ready for the Australian Open and do some damage there!

Nice to see Vakulenko winning again tho!

very nice to have julia back. the most impressive girl from her country - ukaraine didn't seem to do as well as other eastern european countries and it's hard to find a reason.

i would say that Alona Bondarenko is more impressive than Vakulenko by a considerable margin.

I definetely agree although I like both players.

Although Julia has had a catalogue of injuries which is held her back, Alona has one a Tier II title, will be seeded at Australian Open and Julia hasn't been ranked in the top 50. If she could get some good form though and actually last a season without an injury, it would be interesting to see what Julia could do.

Julia has never done a REAL entire season from the 1st january to the 31st december...I hope she will this year to see how much she'll improve in the rankings...Last year she climbed into the top 100 playing only two slams (retiring due to a new injury at Wimbledon) and 5 tournaments all year long...So hope is here ;)
