Myskina has been the most inconsistent. Also Kuznetsova, who lost first round of Wimbledon 2004, then won the USO, and lost first round USO the next year.

i don't see how the longest active spell at top10 can be inconsistent, not how a player who's won more than 100 matches (singles and doubles combined) in a single season can be considered inconsistent.
the only active player to reach QF or better of all tierIs, GS, olympics.
inconsistency is not "boohoo - i want my face to win all the time!"
it's a mental problem of staying focused, alert and ready, keeping ourself positive and in it.

most players on tour are somewhat inconsistent, but very few could creat highs and lows back-to-back as a habit of play.
Sprem though, is a good example of that kind of mind-lapsing.

Kim.

because she doesn't win everything?

So Disrespectful

Of course Daniela is the least consistent player. Now all she needs to do is prove how very inconsistent she is by winning the Australian Open :D

Oh don't be sooo harsh!!! She do not suck at all time...
Look, she is behind top 50 (almost whole year, if not really whole year) and she has some great wins against top 50 players. Like against Jill Craybas - she crushed her 6-1 6-0!!! Then she beat Medina two times!! That's not bad at all, cause Medina is top 30 player, and Jill has so long on the tour, and has played so many big matches...

She is just inconsistent!

How is Venus inconsistent?

She's actually very consistent:

1. Withdraw 90% of the time,
2. Make 500 unforced errors per match.

Kim.

ok, so maybe kim was a tad less consistant as she was in previous years, but i'm sure a lot of players would love to be as "inconsistant" as she is ;)

Daniela is the most Inconsistant and unpredictable  It sucks. She could beat a top 5 player one week, and lose to Savchuk the next  :tape:

I think to be considered "inconsistent", a player must be in the top 25/30 even with inconsistencies. In other words, the player must have top five or ten moments often enough to comopensate for moments of crappy play.

Hantuchova: textbook inconsistent
Ivanovic
Golovin

that's about it.
