Maybe they can get a couple of titles.

But at least I try to remain realistic.

Sydney - Henin
Australian Open - Sharapova over Hingis :) :) b/c Hingis made final, not b/c Sharapova beat her
Tokyo - Sharapova
Paris - Mauresmo
Antwerp - Kim, farewell to Belgium with a win :) or Venus if she's healthy...
Dubai - JHH
Doha - Hingis
Indian Wells - Sharapova
Miami - Serena
Amelia Island - Venus
Charleston - JHH
Warsaw - Kuznetsova
Berlin - JHH
Rome - Hingis
Roland Garros - Hingis- this is my longshot (if you can call it that) I just think she's due for an amazing tournament and for her to finally get the FO would just be amazing...
Eastbourne - Sharapova
Wimbledon - Sharapova or Serena...can't decide :)
Stanford - Clijsters
San Diego - Venus
Los Angeles - Sharapova I have such a hard time remembering who usually plays what events...
Toronto - Molik
New Haven - Vaidisova
US Open - Serena...that should be time for her to be fit and back to her old ways...
Beijing - Serena
Luxembourg - Petrova
Stuttgart - Kuznetsova
Moscow - Sharapova
Zurich - Hingis :) over Schnyder
Linz - Sharapova

just for fun....YEC qualifiers (in no order ;) ) Sharapova, JHH, Serena, Petrova, Mauresmo, Venus, Hingis & Vaidisova

It feels odd that I didn't pick JHH to win a single slam, looking back @ it.... I really think this is going to be Sharapova's year for some reason, unless Serena returns ready to play or injuries interfere...The only thing I really hope for is health for all of our fave players so things can be settled on the court and not with arguments of what if...

me 2. The last year Serena was healthy, she won those titles. No reason to believe that if she was healthy, she wouldn't win them again. :wavey:

The only real stretch was the RG, thus the ;)

In another thread you doubted she'd win a slam.

Now you say she'll win several big titles and two slams.

Make up your mind. :o

Yes, this season players who have never been ranked Top 10 won the whole 3 (three) Tier II or higher titles! 3 out of 29 such tournaments overall. It's a huge number of titles, HUGE!

So summarized, someone who had Justine as winner on all tourneys would lead the pack ;)

I got two really obscure predictions right  I mean how easy is it to predict that JH will win RG

yes, Henin for RG and Sharapova for San Diego were two most popular picks but to predict Jankovic and (especially) Golovin tiltes...

actually henin-hardenne didn't win a title at all this year ;)

I love my quote " I think this is going to be Sharapova's year for some reason" It felt right after last years USO, etc. Nothing like looking back and thinking WTF was I thinking... (Did I seriously not pick JH to win the FO  ) I think I was high...

I'd like to try a similar thread something like pick a tournament you think a certain player would win surely, but only one, and if that player loses, the poster/s do not post in wtaworld for like, i dont know, maybe 20 days or something. that's just an idea though, i know most people like posting everyday.
