Jelena Jankovic is not going to win...people are so deluded

It's probably going to be either Sharapova or JHH..unfortunately they are the two best by miles right now

it's not necessarily about her winning but about her chances. and those chances are greater than those of vaidisova (for ex.).

Explain to me the difference in spite of saying this.It would be more intelligent from you.:) Because, for me there is no difference apart from playing with the words, here.
It will be very ridiculous to say she has chances but she can win it,if she has chances,so,she can win it.

I would like if Dementieva won the title. I would also like if Petrova or Venus won the title. I'd actually even like it if Hingis won the title because God knows I'd hate to have not had a Slam in six years. Then she can retire again and go the fuck away. :)

But really, unless Mauresmo wins the title out of the three hot favorites if one of them have to win it, I'm going to be disappointed. I wouldn't mind if she got a third Slam (she IS a favorite of mine after all), I never want to see Sharapova get another, and I'm just tired of J2H in general.

I don't think Momo will get it again, though. She won her two Slams being completely under the radar. Her nerves are better, but not a ton better. Roland Garros '06 proves that if nothing else.

Sooo, out of all the realistic choices, that means I'm left with Hingis. Well, it's better than Sharapova.

I explain my choices :)

Lena is not on the list,She has poor chances to win a Gs.Maybe,in 2004,her chances was here, but she lets them go.
Right Now,Even if I think that Nadia will never win a Gs,and that Vaidisova and Ivanovic are probably too young, they have better chances than Dementieva. That was my point. You can except more about Ana and Nicole because they're young and they have the fire to do great at One Gs.Lena lost her fire.

:) i can understand your choices, i would definatley think Nicole has a good shot at winning, i dont think Ivanovic is at the level she needs to be to win a slam yet, she still doesnt really win the big matches when she's the favourite, like when both Venus and Serena trounced her in straights in USO and Luxembourg, she froze, i dont see her being a contender yet, and lena can be unpredictable who knows when she will produce her best

I put Ana on the list, because I was thinking at Sveltana and Maria who won while they was not on their best. So,You can include Jankovic too.
I really appreciated what Lena did in 2004.I was cheering for her during the two final.Sadly, she lost.
So true, she's unpredictable  she can lose 6-1 6-2 and after that won 6-1 6-2!

i think players like vaidisova and ivanovic havent quite found the right gaem to win a grand slam yet, but they certainly can do some damage. the only 3 players with a real chance are mauresmo, henin-hardenne and sharapova. i think the final will will henin vs sharapova and if henin plays like she did against sharapova in madrid, then she will win again
