A slam for Lena D. I don't care which one, I don't care how and I don't care by how much. Hell, I'll even take dubz title.

I'd also like her to continue her YEC streak.

I expect Nastya to win a match, win at least one crappy title, and stay in the top 20. The last one being the one I'm least confident in.

For Justine anything other than world number 1 and at least 1 GS title would be an underachievement. Having said this, I hope she stays at #1 for the entire year and wins 3 Grand Slams (Wimbledon and RG included).

I see you expect a lot of more out of Nastya then I do.

I think i'm sandwiched somewhere between the expectations of you two. I think Nastya should remain easily in the top 20, but I don't see her getting anywhere near the top 5. I'd be happy with a Tier 2 title, but don't expect a Tier 1.

I expect Nadia, Sveta, Dinara, Anna C, Vera Z and Vesnina all to play the best tennis of their careers.
I think Myskina will have a solid year, and Dementieva will stay solidly in the top 10.
And I expect 15 year old Nastya P. to start to make an impact.

I expect Hingis to reach the Top 5 at some point during the year, assuming she doesn't get injured.

I also expect her to win a title.

I don't expect her to win a Slam. But I am hoping for it! :)

Ditto. Top 5 is achievable provided she plays well, defending most of her 2006 points and winning a few big matches. I think she will win more titles as well. Tier 1's are always good for Hingis, as she plays almost all of them and her chances of getting deeper and avoiding the top 3 are better. I want her to play more Tier 2's. Overall I think she should win 3-4 titles, reach the top 5 at some point, and hopefully make a GS semifinal.

Realistic expectations:

Lindsay: a smooth and painless pregnancy :D. Maybe show up at a tribute.
Maria Sharapova: Two GS or One GS/YEC, end the year nr.1, a first title on clay perhaps?
Justine: One GS at least, win all the clay titles she plays.
Kim: One GS, win most of the hardcourt titles, play every grand slam.
Ana Ivanovic: Reach Top 10. Winning a second big title. One GS SF.
Martina Hingis: Reach Top 5. No more exits before the 4th round in slams. At least one GS SF, a couple of Tier 2 titles.
Michaella Krajicek: End the year in top 25, defend her Rosmalen title and at least a 4th round at Wimbledon. No more early exits against lower ranked/similar ranked opponents.
Nadia Petrova: Continue her good form this year. Going deep in every slam and tournament. One GS final.
Jelena Jankovic: Winning a big title. Consistency in slam performance with at least a 4th round in every slam.
Na Li: End the year top 20. Winning some smaller titles or a tier 2.
Alicia Molik: End the year top 30. Winning some small titles.
Elena Bovina: End the year top 40. Healthy and a full playing schedule.
Serena Williams: Healthy and playing. Going deep in at least one slam beating top 10 players. One GS SF
