You can volunteer to run TT tournaments in this thread. It will not mean that you will definitely run it, but every application will be considered.

Every manager has to make the thread of their tournament at least 72 hours before the official start of the tournament's main draw, otherwise they will be replaced by someone else. :)

Regarding challengers, I thought people would commit straight in a thread of a specific challenger, because I think in general people would still prefer playing in a WTA event and only see challengers as a second option.

It wasn't supposed to be the "I want this so I run this and/or I do whatever i want" stuff but more a "discussion" with people who volunteer for running tourneys, the spirit is still not there.

You never lost it? Posting all of 2 minutes before me doesnt secure you that tournament.

I got sent Pms by around a dozen TT players requesting that I start the thread as they would be away over christmas and would like to see how many people were going to play there.

I still wanted you to do half the work for it, nevermind now

Sydney and Hobart are starting in just a few days, i'm willing to run either one of them if no one else can. I know i haven't played TT on Wtaworld for very long but i've been playing on MTF late last year, so i understand the rules.

It would be a shame if Sydney and Hobart tournaments can't get going.

We had so many problems with some managers who tried to rig the game and/or had multiple accounts. We can't trust everyone just like this, especially if it comes to run tourneys.

I still don't know what we will do on the two weeks of IW. It depends on the number of pp committed in IW and whether it will be a 64 draw or a 32 draw.
If we do a challenger on that week your help would be much appreciated.

I also want to run some European challengers in March.

The only problem for challengers is that you can't find a OOP.
May I run Minsk $ 25,000 and Las Palmas De Gran Canaria $ 25,000.
If I can't find a OOP, can I use this Schedule:
first half first round - TT 1st Round
second half first round - TT 2nd Round
second round - TT QF
QF - TT SF
SF+F - TT F

The only problem for challengers is that you can't find a OOP.
May I run Minsk $ 25,000 and Las Palmas De Gran Canaria $ 25,000.
If I can't find a OOP, can I use this Schedule:
first half first round - TT 1st Round
second half first round - TT 2nd Round
second round - TT QF
QF - TT SF
SF+F - TT F

Can I run, Las Palmas De Gran Canaria $ 25,000 and you Minsk?

That's what I said to tennis2006 when he asked me if he could run this tourney via pm, just like him I think we should cancel this tourney if there is less than 8 players committed.

Btw, no need to type your message on size 4, the regular size is enough.

In Budapest are at the moment around 70 players I think.
Very much for a tournament with a 32 players draw.

Rik.
Apr 22nd, 2007, 05:00 PM
I want to run 's-Hertogenbosch.

Rik.
Apr 22nd, 2007, 05:49 PM
If Budapest start on Tuesday and there is no qualifing I can run it.
So I mean that only the top 32 players who commited can play.
Because it's to late to start play tomorrow.
I can also run Prague.

Well, jazar told me via pm that he unfortunately can't run this.

The situation is kinda desperate, I am going to do the thread and the entry lists, but seriously it really really really doesn't suit me.

I know the 64 draw sucks but jazar let us down way too late, usually we do the qualies on Monday, it's not possible now.

Ivanovic Fan!!!! is supposed to run Warsaw and Ruisantos should run Estoril (it's on the first page).

Bubba,

Is it a "I'll run this and cancel my offer in a few hours days" or is it a serious offer?
I guess you will go with the second option. I added you on the first page but that doesn't mean we won't keep an eye on your commitment.

I did this by the high tournaments, because I have to start with lower tournaments, I think.
But I'm really going to run this tournaments.

Je crois que ça devrait aller, merci.
Normalement je devrais pas avoir une semaine trop chargée, et j'ai prévu de jouer à Prague, donc il n'y aurra pas de conflits d'intérêt. :p

If you have more confidence now, then I like to do Birmingham.
Running a tournament for the first time is always the most difficult.
I also can run more tournaments in the future if that's appreciated.

I don't know about Bubba, but I have thought that you ran Warsaw fairly well and very reliably, so I think that you running Birmingham would be cool :)

I just said that because of the jazar context and coz I found you too quiet.
I didn't follow TT Warsaw, but the others seem satisfied with your work, so yeah you can run Birmingham.

I'm glad with Birmingham, which won't be a dissapointment.

I would like to request to run Palermo, if that is possible. I have run PAW tournaments before, so I hope there is enough confidence in my abilities.

If anyone needs an assistant manager for a tournament, I can also help out.
