Not being a Davenport fan, I very much respect and admire her for her human side. My strongest memory of Lindsay is of her hugging Amélie in Filderstadt's final a couple of years ago after Amélie retired with injury. It really impressed me how classy she was.

I also realised Lindsay's last official match was against Amélie in Beijing. I was a bit surprised but she sounds happy, so all the best for Lindsay! May her life away from tennis be as nice as her tennis career. :)

That's a great point. I'll try to be happy. :hug: But I just wish she had been allowed to play as much as she wanted to this summer; it's a shame it all ended so soon after that crazy Larry Scott bs. :(

I am :inlove: with one where she throwing her racket. God, I'm going to miss her cussing out herself during tournaments when she plays underpar. That was always fun.
