Does anyone know who holds the official record?

To my knowledge, the longest streak of won games is Davenport at Indian Wells in 2005.

QF - Defs. Dechy 7-6, 6-0

SF - Defs. Sharapova 6-0, 6-0

F led K. Clijsters 4-0 first set before losing 6-4, 4-6, 6-2

So that would make 23 consecutive games I'm guessing - unless Lindsay was down 5-6 to Dechy which would make 24.

Thats a possibility also......Conchita's game was so great on the clay...I would have loved to see her win the French.

you are obviously forgetting that where great stats are to be found, a great player should be listed near by.

french open 1988, Graf won the second set against sabatini 7-6
then double bageled zvereva, then double bageled na in the first round of Wimbledon. that alone means she won at least 25 consecutive games, the next match was against quentric eagle and steffi won the first set 6-2
if anyone of the wiser-guys remembers better what exactly happened, we might get an even bigger number.

another potentially big run was the next years aussie run
R128 H2H GUSE, KERRY-ANNE W 6-2 6-1
R64 H2H SIMPSON, RENE 95 W 6-0 6-0
R32 H2H WERDEL WITMEYER, MARIANNE 113 W 6-0 6-1
at least 19 consecutives.

and another run of at least 19 the following tournament she played
R32 H2H MARTIN, STACEY 90 W 6-1 6-1
R16 H2H BASSETT-SEGUSO, CARLING 142 W 6-0 6-0
Q H2H (8) KELESI, HELEN 19 W 6-0 6-1

another run of at least 19 the same year was beating novotna at the european indoors final, then:
R32 H2H GARRONE, LAURA 83 W 6-0 6-0
R16 H2H KOHDE-KILSCH, CLAUDIA 36 W 6-0 6-3

anyway - she's got a few 20+ streaks i suppose.

Chris Evert had minimum 19, maximum 29 at US Open 1976:

2R : Stevens 6-1 6-0
3R : Coles 6-0 6-0
4R : Barker 6-1 6-0

Anyone from further back?

Winning her first title in Montpellier 1993, Elena Likhovtseva was down 16 25 in her QF against Karine Quentrec before saving one or two MP and winning the title, with a double bagel in SF against Janette Husarova.

That means

QF def. Quentrec : 16 75 60 ; 11 games in a row

SF def. Husarova : 60 60 ; 12 games

F def. Monami : 63 64 ; winning the first game of the final

24 games in a row!!!:bounce: :worship: :bounce:

Nice stats by Lindsay...that 60 60 over Sharapova is yet something I can't believe that actually happened!

Brett Lorenzo Favre (pronounced /ˈfɑrv/; born October 10, 1969) is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He was the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers between 1992 and 2007, and for the New York Jets in 2008.

Favre started at the quarterback position for the University of Southern Mississippi for four years before being selected in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons (33rd overall). After one season with the Falcons, Favre was traded to the Green Bay Packers on February 10, 1992, for the 19th pick in the 1992 NFL Draft. He became the Packers' starting quarterback in the fourth game of the 1992 season, starting every game from then until his retirement in 2008. In 2008, Favre came out of retirement, was traded to the New York Jets, and continued his consecutive start streak. On February 11, 2009, Favre told the New York Jets that he was again retiring. He came out of retirement for the second time and signed with the Minnesota Vikings on August 18, 2009.
