With 2006 almost over, what do you think will happen for the British girls in 2007? Will any break the top 100? Who will be awarded Wimbledon wildcards? Which juniors will make an impact? How many titles will we win?
Here are a few players I wouldn't mind our girls drawing at Wimbledon:

Playoff Winner (Naomi Broady)
Break the top 100. :help: Perhaps Katie in doubles.
Titles :help::help::help: Again perhaps Katie in doubles.

Claire did get into the top 100 earlier this year in doubles, but since then she's just disappeared  Considering neither Anne or Katie won a match on grass last year if they get wildcards and win a match or two (especially at Wimbledon) maybe they could get up to the top 100

What I'd like to see:
Anne Katie and Mel mixing ITFs (for steady points) with a lot of WTA events, climbing up the top 200, poss into 100
Georgie and Naomi continuing to rise hopefully to top 150
Yasming and Jade playing full ITF schedule

If Yasmine and Jade decide to play full schedules next year, then maybe Anne, Mel and Katie should try to cut down. Each of them played over 30 events last year :help: :smash:

See the article on Melanie's website where she talks about the amount of tournaments she is playing. This is what players have to do to get through the Challengers and get their ranking high enough for the tour and then perhaps they can cut down.
:) :) Looking good for GB Girls in 2007:)

Believe she has given up and gone back to studying. They are talking about her on GB Tennis girls.
