View Full Version : What's wrong with Petrova?

"I'm disappointed with the way I played," Petrova said, "and also there's some things going in my team which are a little bit frustrating. For once I really felt like I have the right people around me, but now they are not really fitting well together. It looks like I'll have to look maybe for another person."

I say, hey! how many times a year can a player change a coach? Does she ever blame herself for her losses?

She already changed coaches 6 times this year so this is not anything new :tape:

This was Nadia's best year ever. She's not going away.

She's not a top player when other top players are there but she can't accept this and blame her coaches.

She's won 5 titles this season and has beaten Justine and Amelie, so how is she not a top player?

Those top players are at their best in the slams and that's what count.

Amelie went how many years before winning a major?
Nadia had an injury going into RG, and missed Wimbledon.
She will do fine at the majors.

I dunno who's gonna be her new coach now :o
I do think she shouldn't have changed coaches AT ALL...

It doesn't matter who coaches her.
She wants the right atmosphere, so she can enjoy being with her team.
A new coach isn't going to try to change her mechanics, she's in the top 5.

She is still a legit top player. Nobody is saying she is as good as the top 3. But she is capable of beating them.
