Hi All,

I've been to Ismaning again today, luckily a little earlier
and without any problems. I arrived early enough to see two other
matches, the german girl losing each time :(
but more important is that when I chose a place to sit,
I accidentally came to sit about 1 meter away from Jelena :D
I sneaked a photo with the crappy cam of my cell-phone to prove it ;)
The guy to the right of Jelena is around her all the time, anyone know him?
After some time a guy came to tell Jelena about problems with
the stringing of the rackets, and off she went :sad:

In her match against Jolk, a tall German girl, she started
pretty bad and hitting alot of ues and dfs. then at 3:3 she knocked
it up a notch and broke Jolk. the rest of the set the girls held serve,
with Jelena securing it 6:4.

In the second set Jelena turned it up further and powered to a 4:0 lead.
For the rest of the set the girls held serve again, Jelena winning it 6:2
and securing a spot in the semis. A perfect tennis day ended with me
getting her autograph :)

I uploaded some pics, the quality is rather bad because I had
only my cellphone equipped with a vga cam at my disposal.

Her scores are getting better match-by-match. The smart thing to do would be to continue training and playing some Australian ITF's during the offseason, and hoping for a qualifying WC into the AO in January.

Yeah, because she had a late entry wildcard.

I'm so happy for Jelena. I think she could be tired, but she hasn't played for most of the season and she can rest until next year, so that shouldn't be a problem.
