Olga POUTCHKOVA: Olga continued her fall farm as runner up at Quebec Tier III 175K where she ousted top seed/n°12 Jankovic and 4th seed/n°42 Bremond before losing to 2nd seed/n°19 Bartoli.

Aravane REZAI: The french revelation of the year, Aravane is about to reach her goals that she predicted aftre Roland Garros: belonging to the Top 50 by the end of the year! Last week, she reached her 3rd QF o fthe year at Hasselt Tier III $175K as a qualifer ousting 4th seed/n°20 Groenefeld (dropping only 4 games) en route before falling to 6th seed/n°25 Zvonareva.

Edina GALLOVITS: Edina bris breaking her ranking rrecord after winning her 2nd ITF title of the year over 10 in her career. As 3rd seed at Augusta $25K, she ousted 2nd seed/n°117 Sromova en route.

Shiho HISAMATSU: That 2 handed both sides player is breaking the Top 150 for the 1rst time at the age of 27 y.o! Full of confidence, she won her 2nd ITF title of the year in 2 months at Hamanako $25K upsetting top seed/n°136 Takao en route.

Tatjana MALEK: Tatjana is on e of the mromising german talent to follow next year. She's up 5 places this week after reaching the final at Istanbul $25K.

Marina ERAKOVIC: Marina continued her chinese ITF tour competing at Shanghai $50K challenger. She ran to the QF before falling to n°151 but former n°16 in the world Tulyaganova.

Yanchong CHEN: That young chinese girl reaveals this year: she started the year ranked n°692 and broke the Top 200 a couple of weeks ago. She's up 9 spots this week after reaching the 2nd rd at Shangai $50K.

Olivia SANCHEZ: That pretty unknown player who was ranked n°671 in may is breaking the Top 200 this year winning 3 ITF titles. Last week, she made it to the 2nd rd at Istanbul $25K falling to promisong qualifer n°364 Cirstea.

Martina HINGIS n°7 (+1): Martina is reaching her best ranking since come back overtaking Dementieva. Martina can be very proud of her come back. She proved to all tennis specialists that she was able to cope her lack of power thanks to her huge talent.

TOP 20:
Marion BARTOLI n°17 (+2): Marion is breaking a new record after winning her 3rd tournmeent of the year at Quebec Tier III. At Quebec, she proved all the confidence she had, overpowering in final the 8th seed/n°49 Poutchkova in 44 minutes 6/0 6/0!

TOP 50:
Olga POUTCHKOVA n°40 (+9): see above

TOP 100:
Lilia OSTORLOH n°91 (+30): Lilia is back in the Top 100 after reaching the Semi final at Quebec as a qualifer! This is her 1rst semi final since Camberra 2002.

TOP 150:
Shiho HISAMATSU n°143 (+25): see above

TOP 200:
Greta ARN n°200 (+30): Great is also a come backer! She reached the 2nd rd as a qualifer at Quebec Tier III $175K. First she ousted Top seed/n°115 Ferandez in the qualies and then she beat WC n°123 Dubois in the 1rst rd of the main draw before losing to 4th seed/n°42 and eventual semi finalist Bremond.

Olga, Vania and Aravane definitevely reveal this year that they could be Top20 player in the future.
Next year will be capital for them...and it's going to be interesting to follow them. It's going to be a tough year . It's never easy to confirm the year after: all the oponents will pay attention to them when they meet and Olga, vania and Aravane could feel the pressure to confirm their previous year and may also feel the media pressure.

She isn't...yet, but it should come soon enough. ;)
