Elena won't be able to hold serve, Maria will have a letdown in the 2nd set, Elena will pick it up in the third.

sharapova will win the first set easily then dementieva will probably have an injury time out even though she isnt injured then have a bathroom break and come back with sharapova's rhythm disrupted, then she'll go a break up but will serve like a million double faults, capitulate and lose. 6-1, 6-3 to sharapova and sharapova to win the whole thing.

You have to trust that masha will win this one - it's indoors, she's in form and brimming (or should be) with confidence, on a roll and she (almost) owns lena (I know she lost the last one, but all the aforementioned circumstances were not in place).

Maria will win in straight sets

Maria will have to serve well. It will be important for her to get free points off that serve. This will then give her the chance to attack Lena's serves and force the bps and eventual break everytime Lena's on serve. Maria should be careful not to let Lena back in once she (Maria) takes the lead.

I think Maria will take this in 2...hopefully.

Maria owns Dementieva right now even when she lost last time against her she recovered an 1-5 deficit in the 1st set and then saved 7 matchpoints , i like her she doesn't gave up that's her big quality!

Of course Maria is the overwhelming favourite. But you have to know the danger in Elena. She, if anyone, can upset a top player on any given day.

Still I think Maria will take this. One tough and one easier set.

Actually, I honestly believe that Elena and Martina, the two players who are the biggest darkhorses, are the most dangerous. No one quite knows what to expect from them.
