I thought this tournament would be good for her to gain some confidence. It was a good move for her to play at a tier III...I thought she would win this match easily. She probably doesn't have any confidence from her early round exits to Patty Schnyder the past couple of weeks.

I dont' think it would be a bad idea for her to play the $75k itf tournament in Pittsburgh next week. It's a strong field for an itf and she needs more match practice at this point. Good luck Chanda! Ask for a WC next week!

Poor Chanda. All of those WCs wasted on losing:sad: She should have played the Asia Tour and a coupl Ks this fall. Europe was just way over her head at this point :sad: Well...she will have no choice now but to play some ITFs to get her ranking up. Good Luck to her! I think she still has another top 25 ( maybe even top 20 ) ranking run in her if she is up for the fight :bounce:

how did anyone in their right mind think rubin was going to win.
she is constantly getting a beatdown.
even someone as bad as sucha had no problem.
these people giving rubin wild cards are on crack

I wouldn't be that harsh. She used to be a top player so it's no wonder she received wildcards. I would give her one to. She is capable of creating noise in a tournament if she is playing well. Tournaments give her wildcards for these reasons.

........ hmm, I really think her serve (which was always fragile) has just gone off completely since her comeback, I hope she can get it somewhat right for next season.
