She made the Wimbledon semis as a qualifier, just like John McEnroe AND HE IS IN THE HALL OF FAME.
So ... yes. :)
So ... yes. :)
If Alexandra Stevenson retires ... is she HOF worthy?GoDominique Oct 29th, 2006, 03:33 PM She made the Wimbledon semis as a qualifier, just like John McEnroe AND HE IS IN THE HALL OF FAME. So ... yes. :) tennisbuddy12 Oct 29th, 2006, 03:34 PM no ~Eclipsed~ Oct 29th, 2006, 03:36 PM as much as i like her...i would have to say no. It was a nice accomplishment making it to the semifinals of Wimbledon as a qualifier, but comparing her to what McEnroe achieved? She never won a wtatour title. So definitely not. McEnroe won several grand slams after the semifinal run at Wimbledon...Stevenson hasn't come close to even a semifinal result since that. MinnyGophers Oct 29th, 2006, 03:38 PM She made the Wimbledon semis as a qualifier, just like John McEnroe AND HE IS IN THE HALL OF FAME. Oct 29th, 2006, 03:55 PM She should be made a HOFer because she had the most devastating serve in the history of womens tennis. Ever. Williams-forever Oct 29th, 2006, 04:23 PM Well no. She's very talented and she has a few outstanding results throughout her career, but none if this is anywhere near Hall of Fame level. Sorry Alex  50Sense Oct 29th, 2006, 04:55 PM Her estranged father is in the HOF, so she should be too. égalité Oct 29th, 2006, 04:55 PM Of course! She probably holds the record for most retirements :hearts: LoveFifteen Oct 29th, 2006, 05:02 PM I will only support Stevenson getting into the Hall of Fame if her exhibit is right between Nicole Pratt and Conchita Martinez! Kart Oct 29th, 2006, 05:11 PM I will only support Stevenson getting into the Hall of Fame if her exhibit is right between Nicole Pratt and Conchita Martinez! We could call it 'locker room predators at work.' thrust Oct 29th, 2006, 05:12 PM You Cannot Be Serious!!
