Current standings
Hingis 1926
Clijsters 1860
Schynder 1616

Kim and Patty will meet in the SF of Hasselt, so they can't meet in the finals (Obviously)
If Patty wins Linz and Hasselt she'll have 1616 + 195 + 120 = 1931 points
That means Kim will have 1860 + 55 = 1915 points

So basically Kim vs Patty SF in Hasselt will determine who qualifies, if Patty wins Linz

Martina will either be 7th or 8th position depending on Patty's results...

Congrats, Martina!
What a great cap to a wonderful comeback year!!

it is still possible that Nadia will withdraw and Patty will be shifted to her spot
so Martina HAS NOT qualified

Good point. I'm quite sure Nadia will withdraw :)

So if no one withdraws, Patty has to win Linz and reach the semifinals of Hasselt, and beat Kim there? :tape:

Oh well. I guess there's always next year.

Unlikely to do it in time. If she pulls out she'll probably be late enough just to be replaced by a LL. Anyway, it will be confirmed in a few hours anyway when patty loses to Vera.

JHH will probably withdraw and all three of them will get in anyway. Or even Amelie may. It's still too early.

Patty in YEC ? zzzzzzzzzzzz

She is there already, if she uses it it means she will play no matter what her results are, even if she pulls a Dementieva and loses all of ther matches without winning a set is still a great acomplishment. Remmember Venus has not qualified there since 2003.
