She lost :sad: Apparently she had problems with her neck and had to call the trainer.I hope it's nothing serious.

Poor baby, I hate to see her cry :sad: First set was excellent except the one service game when she got broken. In 2nd she got injured in the opening game and couldn't even serve... I'm proud of her though, she must have scared shit out of Sharapova in 1st set and she showed character in 2nd when she kept playing instead of calling it quits.

I think that Eleni has a problem (injury) in 11th game of 1st set. Her 2 double faults in this moment is evidence.
6 matches in 6 days - that is very difficult !!! Sharapova has 3 days rest. If they play in the same conditions the result of this match may be other.

Good news is she didn't give up. Bad news is she got injured again and she didn't seem very happy about it. She has improved her tennis very much lately and I don't know what, but we have to do something to change her luck. It was a good try anyway. Bravo Eleni!

I don't see them either. I think you're right about Eleni having problems with her neck at *5-5 in 1st set, she was serving great until then, even managed to go from *0-30 down to win the game. Hope Eleni will leave us a note on her website about her condition.

Eleni and Jaz didn't have to play as Hantuyama team withdrew (Daniela's injury). Eleni has an extra day to decide whether she can/should play or not.

Thanks for the updates :kiss: It was very sad to see Eleni go in pain :sad: I guess we'll have to wait to see how serious it is...

I read somewhere that Eleni "called for medical attention for dizziness and a headache." It's ridiculous, she definitely seemed to have problems with her neck and back not headache....

Unfortunately Eurosport started at 5-5 and we lost the best part of the match.....
Next time we'll beat her!!!!!!!

Hi to everyone,
Thanks for your nice messages at the guestbook. Whenever i am online, i read it, thanks for your support!! Since 4days now, i've been sick, just got it the day before the match vs Rubin. It was so good that i won this match in 2sets. Vs Maria?? The 1st set i think was a very big fight, i had so much fun on court, feeling great the ball. Very close... But in the important moments she was just a bit better than me. In the 2nd set, after the 1st game i called the physio on court. Guys, i am not injured, i was just feeling so dizzy, had so much headache and low energy. Of cource it didn't help much that i called the physio but i had to try something...Yesterday i had a day off, just easy chlling out and of cource had time to stay in bed.
Today, i feel a bit better, more energy. Our doubles match is tonight, tough match but we will go for it!!! Nothing is inpossible...
