Reason No.1: It has been done before.
Reason No.2: It would speed up the game (compared to off-court change).
Reason No.3: ... should be obvious.

Actually this idea could be expanded too. :)
For example, players could be required to wear different outfits with each change.
Additionally one could have the crowd/TV audience deciding in a poll which outfit that player should wear next.
The worn clothes could be given away to the crowd, underwear included.
Of course, a bunch of cameras aiming at different body parts should be used.

What do you think? :)

Well, Jelena J. changed her pantys at Roland Garros this year on court. The interest here of pictures and videos was big. So why not. :tape:

Hmmm. That's an idea. I was thinking more along the lines of strip-tennis. Every time your serve is broken, you lose one item of clothing. That would definitely bring in more spectators, I mean just look at what it's done for crazy golf.

Yeah she did and got into heaps of trouble for it. I don't think it would catch on some how.

It would only be worth watching if the player was good looking

if it was Mauresmo, Williams, Henin...etc, then :help:

If it was Sharapova, Kirilenko, Hantuchova...etc, then :hearts:
